Gatehouse Farm is a high quality Ofsted registered childcare provision located in a convenient position close to Gatehouse School. Gatehouse Farm has been started by Claire Mildenhall to meet the growing demand for quality all year round childcare and more choice for the parents of Dawlish and the surrounding areas. Claire has over 25 years childcare experience managing a range of settings both in London and Devon; she is supported by a very committed and highly motivated team of qualified Nursery Nurses. All staff working at Gatehouse Farm are experienced childcare professionals and everyone is: DBS checked, First Aid trained and registered with Ofsted and Social Services. The scrutiny of these checks ensures that the best quality care and welfare is given to each child, so that they are never exposed to harm.
Gatehouse Farm offers a warm, homely setting, occupying its own large Farmhouse set amidst the lovely Dawlish country side. The downstairs of the house is for the exclusive use of the children, with a large range of planned and child-led activities available. There is a huge garden to the rear for the children to play in, whilst the front garden houses our very own friendly petting zoo and pond for the children to access (with adult supervision and support). The children have their own private bathroom.
